    Overview

    Immerse yourself among the volcanoes, beaches, shorelines, forests, and mountains of amazing Hawai?i Island. Experience active volcanoes, coral reefs, recent lava flows dark skies, and black and green sand beaches as your classroom. Learn electronics and model rocketry. Get outside and do some science!

    At Land, Sea, Air, and Space campers engage with volcanoes (geology), the ocean (marine biology, oceanography), the forest (biology, zoology), the atmospher, and space and space exploration. You will visit Kilauea, the world's most active (and easily studied) volcano. You will learn not just about the events that take place in the natural world but experience first-hand how they affect plants, animals, and humans. The Big Island of Hawai?i is the world's greatest laboratory for Earth Science. Build and launch model rockets. Learn electronics. Learn about traditional astronomy and Polynesian Voyaging. Experience this amazing program this summer!
