    Overview

    High school students have the opportunity this summer to take academically rigorous, college-prep coursework at Seton Hall University. A pre-college program is a great opportunity to study a favorite subject, get ahead in your chosen field, or try out something completely new. You may even be able to study something not offered at your high school. 

    Taking courses over the summer at Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ will provide high school students the opportunity to take courses on a real university campus, meeting with experienced faculty and finding subjects and areas that interest you.  

    Introduction to Baseball Analytics 
    July 7 - 11 
    1 to 4 p.m. 

    Step into the thrilling world where data meets home runs in Baseball Analytics. This dynamic pre-college course introduces participants to the captivating realm of baseball analytics, where numbers transform into strategic game-changers on the field. 

    In this immersive experience, students will explore the intersection of data science and America's favorite pastime, delving into the revolutionary techniques that have reshaped the game. From understanding player performance metrics to deciphering the art of drafting and in-game decision-making, participants will gain a comprehensive view of how analytics is reshaping the landscape of baseball. Participants earn 1 credit upon completion of course and deliverables.
