Shire Village strives to bring together a group of children and adults diverse in background and experience. The children are encouraged to recognize and respect the many ways people think, feel and live. We challenge campers to help build a supportive environment for themselves and their peers.
Campers can choose from a variety of activities including arts & crafts, horseback riding, farm & nature, outdoor living, sports, theater, woodworking, swimming and more.
Included in our program are evening activities and special event days which involve full camp participation. A three-day long intensive program allows campers to select and deepen their skills in an area of interest. Guest artists and musicians frequently visit camp and run special programs.
