    Overview

The Westminster Voice and Keyboard Institute welcomes students entering 9th grade through those who have just graduated high school to this two-week residential program. This is an excellent opportunity for the dedicated young classical singer to explore the many facets of developing the singer's art. Students study voice in daily private lessons and participate in master classes taught by Westminster artist faculty members.

Students may choose their area of focus and those who choose Solo Voice will receive training from Westminster Choir College's teaching artist faculty in interpretation of solo repertoire, technique, and voice science.

    Program highlights include:

    • Daily sessions in body awareness, musicianship, improvisation, and more
    • College-level training with Westminster's artist faculty
    • Break-out sessions tailored to each student's focus areaOpportunities for private lessons

Students who complete any Rider University Pre-College Summer Program prior to applying for first-year admission to Rider University can qualify for an annually renewable $2,000 Pre-College Completion Award.
