Step towards your creative future with the ST.ART Intensive at St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas / July 13-26, 2025

This two week program is for rising 11th and 12th grade artists interested in pursuing college and a career in the arts. Students can choose to live on campus or commute daily. 

Immerse yourself in the creative process with daily foundations classes alongside focused  concentrations of your choice designed to expand your art practice, grow your portfolio and help you prepare for college and beyond. Our faculty of practicing artists and college professors guide students through new (and sometimes untraditional!) materials and processes with projects that challenge students to listen and develop their own voice. ST.ART Intensive isn't an opportunity to perfect traditional skills, it's an open door for you to discover your own style and voice as an artist.

ST.ART Intensive Fast Facts:

• Two-week residential or day program at St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas
• For rising 11th and 12th graders in high school (current 10th and 11th). 
• Students attend a daily foundations course and their choice of focused concentration.  
• Mondays include special sketching sessions that will focus on maintaining a sustainable creative process and planning for your artistic future.
• Friday afternoons are reserved for open studio time and critiques with peers and faculty. 
• Beyond the classroom students will make new friends, get a taste of college and explore Austin's vibrant city!
• All students participate in end of program ST.ART Showcase for family and friends at St. Ed's art gallery.

• Program Deposit: $300
• Tuition: $3150 (less the deposit)
  Includes over 40 hours of instruction, some supplies, daily lunch, museum trips, and a ST.ART t-shirt.
• Residential Fee (Optional): $1500
  Includes shared campus housing, meals, and out of class activities from Sunday, July 13 at 2pm until Saturday, July 26 at noon.

All registrations require a $300 nonrefundable deposit. Following registration, students can pay the remainder in full or with bi-weekly or monthly payment plans.

• Financial Aid is available! ST.ART offers merit and need-based scholarships and all details can be found by clicking on our website above. The first Financial Aid deadline is March 1.
