    Overview

Join Suffolk for an exhilarating two-week residential filmmaking journey. From brainstorming plots and writing a screenplay to filming and editing, you'll return home with new technical and visual storytelling skills-plus a short film you'll be proud to share with your biggest fans. From July 6-18, 2025, dive into the world of moviemaking with our dynamic community of filmmakers, teachers, and VIP guest speakers and industry professionals. Here in downtown Boston-a city immortalized on the silver screen-you'll develop your skills in directing, editing, screenwriting, sound design, camera work, and collaboration. You'll also work with industry-standard equipment and software, see what it's like to be part of a creative team, and have serious fun.

You don't need prior filmmaking experience to enjoy this program, just a desire to maximize every moment of this amazing experience.
