    Overview

Grand River Academy and Kent State University are proud to present an exciting, academic summer enrichment program for boys entering 6th-12th grade: the GRA x KSU Summer STEAM Academy. The discovery and creation of robots and drones are just a few of the topics covered that will allow the escape of each camper's inner inventor!

STEAM Academy provides the opportunity for each camper to explore the concepts of Aerial Engineering, Robotics, and Computer Science. Campers will be creating their own drones and robots during each two-week session before designing a website to hypothetically bring their inventions to market. Each participant will also interact with the cutting-edge technology being used in Kent State University’s College of Architecture and Environmental Design as well as their Advanced Telerobotics Research Lab.
