    Overview

Summer Discovery offers high school programs focused on entrepreneurship, engineering, medicine, and humanities at Dartmouth, one of the world's greatest academic institutions.

The Dartmouth Precollege Summer Scholars academic enrichment program offers high schoolstudents an exceptional opportunity to explore a wide range of diverse academies acrossvarious disciplines. This program is crafted to immerse students in the rigorous academicatmosphere and vibrant intellectual community characteristic of Dartmouth. As a prestigiousIvy League institution, Dartmouth is recognized globally for its dedication to excellence ineducation, research, and community involvement.

Dartmouth is home to several renowned graduate and professional schools, including theGeisel School of Medicine, the Thayer School of Engineering, the Guarini School of Graduateand Advanced Studies, and the Tuck School of Business. These institutions contribute toDartmouth's dynamic academic environment, where students benefit from small class sizes, personalized attention from distinguished faculty, and a rigorous curriculum that challengesand inspires.

Our Dartmouth Precollege academic enrichment programs are intensive academies designed by Dartmouth and taught by university faculty and expertinstructors, featuring over five hours of class time each day. Some courses culminate in capstone presentations before a panel of selected peers and communitymembers. Throughout the courses, students engage with a range of impactful guest speakers, offering real-time insights into their respective industries. There isalso a hybrid learning option: 1 week of virtual learning followed by 1 week of on-campus engagement. Begin with 10 hours of online instruction and assignmentsduring the week of July 7th, then courses will follow the same daily schedule as other Summer Scholars once on campus. At the end of the program, students receive a branded Certificate of Completion from Dartmouth.
