    You're invited to jump start your experience in leadership with Massanutten Military Academy's Summer STAR JROTC Leadership Program! Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) is a high school elective program with the mission of teaching students citizenship, leadership, character and community service. Participants must attend all 5 weeks to earn 1 transferrable high school credit. 

    This program is open to students entering grades 9 - 12 in the 2025-26 school year. Participitants will build a foundation as they Strive, Thrive and Achieve lessons in leadership. Program Activities include:

    • Small Boat Operations

    • Rappelling

    • Learn & Practice Communication

    • Skills & Active Listening

    • Rope Bridge

    • Classroom Instruction

    • Land Navigation (day and night) & Bivouac

    • Learn & Apply Conflict Resolution Techniques

    • Learn Importance of Drill & Military Discipline
