    Overview

Are you ready to learn to take on a leadership role with team-building activities? As a CIT, you will learn to work with children in a camp setting, and then use those skills in actual camp classes. In addition, you will spend time writing cover letters, resumes, and participating in mock interviews. First Aid and CPR certifications are included in the program and look great on a resume!

In the Summertimes CIT Program, students will learn what it takes to be a camp counselor! This interactive CIT program is a full-day program. CIT participants will be matched up with a group of counselors and campers from the Summertimes Day Camp in order to give CIT students the opportunity to put their training to work! Participants in the Summertimes CIT program will be given special consideration when they apply to work as a counselor for Summertimes in the future. The first week of the CIT program is required to participate in the subsequent on-the-job training weeks.

St. Stephen's & St. Agnes School is a college preparatory Episcopal Church School in Virginia that educates boys and girls from kindergarten through grade 12. The summer day camp program (ages 3 to 18) offers more than 130 different sessions and attracts more than 2,000 campers to our campuses each summer.
