Every lesson is customized to your student's level, pace, and learning style. Take the stress out of the start of school - work with Summit one-on-one!

One-on-one tutoring is the best way to effectively and directly teach students.

Each Summit tutoring session is geared to your student. We meet your student where they are, tailor tutoring to their particular pace, learning style, and areas of need. Our tutors work with your student to set specific goals, customize lessons, and evaluate progress along the way.

    Summer Tutoring Programs

Subject Tutoring (4th-12th grade) Want to avoid the last-minute dash to finish summer assignments? Feeling like your student needs to catch up in a particular subject before school starts? Summit tutors can keep your student on track to complete summer work and give them the skills that they need for a successful start to the school year.

AP Course Tutoring (9th-12th grade) AP classes on your student’s fall schedule? Ease into those challenging subjects early this summer! Working with an expert Summit AP tutor, your student can get a head start on their AP courses before the rush of the start of the academic year.

Advanced Peak Math Programs (4th-10th grade) Go beyond rote memorization. These sessions are designed to increase student’s confidence and deepen their understanding of core mathematical concepts in a fun and engaging 1-1 tutoring program. Students who complete our Peak math programs are ready for any accelerated or advanced math course they will take in the fall.

Advanced Peak Writing Programs (8th – 10th grade) By reinforcing student’s skills in analytical reading, annotation, and thesis development, students will become better writers. Come September, your student will be ready for their essay writing assignments that they will face in their higher-level English and history classes.

Foundations of SAT/ACT (10th grade) Both the SAT and ACT require students to have mastered many skills in both reading, grammar, and math. If your student is thinking about taking the SAT and ACT but is not yet ready to start formal test prep, our Foundations Program is a great way for students to hone core skills. The added benefit? Bolstering their academic ability before the start of junior year.

SAT/ACT/PSAT Test Prep (11th grade) Summer is the ideal time to take a free practice test with Summit and get feedback on areas to work on! Begin prep over the summer to help your student score at their true potential on the SAT, ACT, or PSAT.

SSAT/ISEE Test Prep (for students applying to independent schools) For many students, the SSAT or ISEE represent their first experience with standardized testing. And since SSAT/ISEE test dates come up so quickly in the fall, summer is the ideal time for your student to begin the process of prepping for these tests. Have your student take a free diagnostic SSAT or ISEE with Summit over the summer to experience the test for the first time, see where they stand, and, with the aid of one of our Program Directors, begin to map out a plan for prep.
