    Overview

    Upward Bound at SUNY Fredonia is a pre-college program designed to help economically and academically disadvantaged students complete high school and succeed in higher education.

    Upward Bound is one of the educational opportunity programs for low-income Americans referred to as the TRIO Programs. The TRIO Programs were originally established by the federal government to ensure equal education opportunity regardless of race, ethnic background or economic circumstance.
