    Ranked as one of the top 500 summer programs in the world, Susquehanna University's Summer Writers Workshop is an excellent opportunity for students who wish to become better writers.

    Open to high school juniors and seniors with writing experience, this program gives students the chance to work in small-group workshops and learn directly from nationally acclaimed authors. They can expect plenty of seminar classes, workshops, and lessons taught by the Susquehanna creative writing faculty. Recognized as one of the best value summer college programs in the country, this workshop will help students improve as writers and give them valuable advice regarding college writing programs and professional opportunities. At the end of this program, students will be expected to present their work during the Saturdya Student Reading. 

    To apply for this amazing program, students are required to submit a writing portfolio showcasing their ability to write poems, fiction, or creative nonfiction.
