    Overview

    Texas Tech University's Shake Hands With Your Future is a summer residential or commuter program for academically talented students. Students experience university life and attend two classes. The camp includes field trips, and recreational activities. Open to students entering grades 4 - 12. "The Future Lies in our Hands!"

    While at Shake Hands with Your Future camp, students experience university life and enroll in 5 different classes. Each day aligns with a different subject. Depending on the Middle or High School status of the student, one class will switch between either Contemporary Art for Middle School students or Business for High School students. The curriculum is focused on interactive learning activities, while also incorporating challenging concepts or discussion. The camp includes field trips, and recreational activities.
