    Overview

    BDF hosts intensives in musical theatre & acting. Students explore an array of topics within acting, singing, dance, audition technique, business of theatre, stage management, tech & costumes. The award-winning faculty is composed of Broadway actors, directors, choreographers, casting agents, & more.

    The Broadway Dreams Foundation is a nonprofit that hosts premier training intensives in musical theatre and acting. Throughout the weeklong program, students of all ages will work with top Broadway professionals in intimate master class settings. Student will have the opportunity to explore an array of topics within the categories of acting, singing, dance, audition technique, business of theatre, stage management, technical theatre, and costume design. The program will culminate with a professionally directed and produced showcase of student and faculty talent.

    The Broadway Dreams Foundation’s award-winning faculty is composed of working Broadway actors, directors, choreographers, producers, casting agents, musicians, and more. Past program attendees have had the opportunity to work with faculty members such as Stafford Arima (director, Allegiance), Tituss Burgess (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), Alex Newell (Glee), Ryann Redmond (If/Then, Bring It On!), Spencer Liff (choreographer, Spring Awakening), Nicole Parker (Wicked), Taye Diggs (Rent), Greg Haney (Grease:Live), Matthew and Kirsten Scott (Jersey Boys), and Rachel Hoffman (Telsey & Co Casting).

    Over their 10 years of programming, BDF has helped students ages 6-67 to live their Broadway dream, from working with a Broadway idol to making a Broadway debut. With the support and guidance of BDF, over 100 alums have booked professional roles on Broadway, in national and international tours, and on film.

    New students will need to submit an audition for acceptance into the program. Scholarships are available based on financial need and talent. The program is open to students of all ages. We've had 6-year-olds and 67-year-olds!
