    Overview

    The Playground is the premiere young actor's conservatory in Los Angeles. Our focus is teaching young actors the craft of on camera film and television acting.  We have two locations - one in Century City area of Los Angeles; and our Orange County Satellite Studios, located in Costa Mesa, California.

    Both Playground locations are designed to create a nurturing environment for young actors and a professional atmosphere with studio-grade lights, cameras and monitors.

    Gary Spatz, the Director of The Playground, is one of the top childacting coaches in the world and has 25 years of experienceworking with children in the entertainment industry projects include the Mickey Mouse ClubSuite LifeRoseanneEverybody Loves Raymond and many more.  Gary is sought after to work with young actors for film and television projects and has worked with many of the most successful young performers in Hollywood from Britney, Christina and Justin to Dylan and Cole!.  A complete list of Gary's projects is available on IMDb.

    Gary has developed a comprehensive curriculum for young students/actors that incorporates his years of experience into every activity at The Playground.

    Let your child or teen explore acting with us - They can learn the craft of acting and be prepared to audition for film, television and commercials, even if they have no previous experience. All summer programs include “Celebrity Day!”
