    Overview

Unlike any other debate camp in the country, the RKS practices what we call the “No-Lab Curriculum.” The No-Lab Curriculum is a dynamic, collaborative, and adaptive structure that balances skills development, intellectual growth, and healthy living.

We offer both online and residential options, with sessions ranging from 1 to 5 weeks.

4 Week Session: This is the Ultimate RKS Experience. Get a head start on producing your signature file.  Includes specialized lectures and drills, with emphasis on research and skills development.

3 Week Session: No-Lab Curriculum is in full effect.  Work with the best, produce a signature file, and get tournament experience.

2 Week Session: This group of students will still be integrated with the broader No-Lab Curriculum but sophomores will also participate in specialized breakouts with increased emphasis on the skills required to get them to the next level.

1 Week Session: This group of students will come to truly understand what it means to engage in the final steps of preparation for a tournament. There will be extensive strategy sessions learning how to truly prepare for not just the first speeches, but the end of the debate.

7-Day Intensive: In the 7-day intensive you will work directly with Daryl Burch and Amber Kelsie on a) broad-based topic research; b) first, second, and third order theory lectures followed by seminar-style discussion; c) executing what we’ve learned through practice debates, drills, and tricks.
