Learn how to program by taking a trip through the world of Computer Science! This hands-on course will teach you the fundamentals of writing code through tackling problems from a variety of different fields within computing. Along the way, you will write programs for a variety of applications, from data analysis to conversation, games and more!

This course will be taught in Python, and you will create interactive programs from day 1. During the length of the course, we will cover most of the content of an introductory programming course, though content will be scaled to fit the needs and experience of students.

The course will include synchronous class time, weekly homework assignments to build your skills, and a final project of your own design about a topic of your choice. No experience with programming, or Python is required - curious and creative thinkers of all backgrounds are welcome!

    Attendance

Students attending the online program are expected to attend all class sessions live in real time. In order to prioritize the health and well-being of participants, eligibility is restricted to applicants residing in time zones where class hours do not extend beyond midnight.
