Elevate your passion for sports and unlock your full athletic potential with the Sports Performance Summer Pre-College Program. This customized experience offers a dynamic, hands-on opportunity for individuals looking to enhance their athletic performance or explore a career in sports performance; no athletic experience is required.
Program Format:
The Sports Performance program features an engaging format that combines various learning methods. Over two weeks, students will participate in roundtable discussions, interactive lectures, coaching sessions, and practical exercises. Utilizing athletic and academic facilities, the program emphasizes hands-on learning. Each day, discussions on the theoretical aspects of sports performance will be paired with practical hands-on sessions in sports performance training facilities. This integrated approach ensures an immersive learning experience, blending theoretical knowledge with practical application to prepare you for success in the exciting field of sports performance.
Practical Application through Team Projects:
Apply your new knowledge through hands-on team projects that simulate real-world scenarios in sports performance. Collaborate with peer students to develop and implement training programs, analyze data, and present findings.

Advanced Training Methods: Explore the latest advancements in sports performance training, focusing on strength development, agility, speed, and power. Explore the science behind fueling optimal athletic performance, focusing on nutrition's role in maximizing performance and recovery. Engage in hands-on sessions using various technologies, equipment, and facilities.
Data Analytics for Performance: Dive into sports data analytics and learn to leverage performance and recovery data to maximize athletic capabilities. Gain insights into athlete assessment through comprehensive evaluation & performance metrics, injury prevention strategies, and personalized training regimens based on individual data.
Recovery: Recognizing the crucial role of recovery in athletic achievement, with a special focus on the often-underestimated importance of sleep. Explore the science behind recovery techniques, including stretching, foam rolling, and active recovery sessions.
Important Information: Students should have a basic understanding of sports and fitness principles, but no prior athletic experience is required. Movement and physical activity are integral to the program, and students must complete a medical health history form and sign an informed consent form. Safety is our priority, and all activities will be modified to accommodate a wide range of abilities while supervised by qualified individuals.
