    Overview

Explore Engineering provides an opportunity for students to explore different fields of engineering around a central theme through a variety of engaging, hands-on activities. This is a non-residential week long full day program designed specifically for students who have just completed the 7th or 8th grade (are entering 8th or 9th grade). Find out more!

This year's theme is Engineering Entertainment: Amusement Park Challenge. Students will use concepts from multiple fields of engineering to design, build, and test strategies for building an amusement park--from site selection to ride design.

    Eligibility and Application

All students entering the 8th or 9th grade school year are eligible to apply. Students will be accepted in the order they are registered.

The program fee covers snacks, a t-shirt, insurance, and other camp related expenses. Lunch is not provided. Students are expected to bring a lunch each day. If this will cause unnecessary hardship, please contact us prior to camp start to make alternate arrangements.

Program fees are due upon acceptance to the program. Scholarships are available thanks to the generosity of a number of sponsors. Please complete the scholarship portion of the application before the deadline to receive consideration for these scholarships.

This camp is held on the University of Arkansas campus. More specific information will be provided once registration is finalized.
