The United States Naval Academy Summer STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) program is designed to encourage rising 9th-11th graders to pursue a course of study in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Do you like math and science? Do you enjoy discovering new concepts, problem solving, and learning about system mechanics? Are you creative, persistent, and desire to make the world a better place? If so, you’re on the path to becoming a great engineer! The path also requires hard work and an exemplary education. Our summer program is a great catalyst to initiate your pursuit of a future in science and engineering.
During this residential program, campers will create, build, and explore in world-class lab facilities, working alongside USNA’s distinguished faculty and Midshipmen. Participants will also experience real-life application and learning at one of the Top 5 "Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs" in the country, as ranked by U.S. News and World Report.

June 3-8: Current 8th graders/rising 9th
June 10-15: Current 9th graders/rising 10th
June 17-21: Current 10th graders/rising 11th
Tuition and Travel
All selected participants are required to pay a $700 program fee that will include room and board, meals, USNA Summer STEM apparel, and a day trip to Washington, D.C.. USNA bus transportation is provided to and from BWI Airport (including the Amtrak Station) and the Academy. Travel to and from Maryland is not included in the program fee. Need based scholarship applications are available for the program fee and/or travel expenses.
