    Overview

Wilshire Boulevard Temple Camps are designed to help Jewish youth develop personal identity and self-esteem, build relationships, learn about Judaism, have fun, and increase their long-term commitment to their families, synagogues, and communities. At camp, Judaism is not merely a programming device–it is our essence. The pattern of our day is uniquely Jewish. Prayer is a component. Meals are blessed.

Our teen session (7th-10th grade) has an energy and spirit unlike any other! Campers will have the opportunity to participate in all activities offered through our arts and sports rotations, and they will get to hone their skills and develop new ones during their intensives as well as their elective periods. Evening programs are a combination of fun, silly activities that allow kids to just be kids and activities designed to help our teens feel more support as they move through the world. Areas of focus for those programs include leadership development, self esteem, Jewish connection and building sacred spaces.
