    Overview

Westchester & Fairfield's CPR/AED program prepares students for emergency situations they may encounter in the future covering emergency skills needed for adults, children, and infants. It is delivered in the American Red Cross Blended Learning format, which combines in-person skill sessions with online simulation to enhance the training experience.

During the class, they will learn how to perform one person and two person CPR, how to use a bag-valve-mask, and how to use an automated external defibrillator. In addition, there may also be sessions focusing on standard precautions to prevent disease transmission, the signs of cardiac arrest, and the four links in cardiac chain of survival. By the end of the course, students will be CPR certified.
