World Scholars Academy offers an elite creative writing summer course for students ages 15-18 designed and taught by world-leading instructors. World Scholars Academy courses are taught by world-elite instructors from top universities, hand-selected for their intellectual leadership and ability to transmit high-level insights to their students. On our programs you'll work both one-on-one with your instructor and in a select group of other academically-ambitious peers from around the world. Our summer courses introduce students to what it is like to undertake advanced study in leading disciplines, while providing the correct foundations and learning mindsets to attain the highest levels of academic and professional success.
Creative Writing Academy is available for ages 15-18 (or with instructor permision), and is delivered synchronously in (i) ten live and interactive online classes, and (ii) two one-on-one personalized academic tutorials led by your instructor.

Meet Your Instructor
Luke Young is a doctoral candidate in English at the University of Oxford. His doctoral research focuses on modern essays and literature in Britain and America. He holds an MA in Literature and Culture, and a BA in English from the University of Birmingham.
He is an active playwright and essayist, and is the Winner of the TORCH Flash Fiction Competition for his original play Error, which he also directed. He is also a joint author of the Routledge Companion to George Orwell, among other publications.
Luke is a tutor and instructor of English Literature at the University of Oxford, where he additionally interviews prospective undergraduate English students. He is the founding director of the Oxford Essays Research Group promoting the study of English essays across subjects and periods. Luke is a passionate tutor of creative writing and is dedicated to helping others express themselves with greater clarity and impact.
