    Overview

Outrageous fun and tremendous growth—that’s what awaits you at Camp Jones Gulch! At the Y, we believe children discover themselves through interactions with others and the freedom to explore. At camp, kids can develop skills, self-confidence, new friendships and a sense of belonging – all while having tons of fun.

YMCA Camp Jones Gulch is located in the beautiful redwoods near La Honda, about an hour south of San Francisco.

    Traditional Overnight Camp

This program is packed full of fun activities with plenty of opportunities to make new friends. With attentive, energetic, and well-trained staff, campers will enjoy participating in all camp has to offer including swimming, archery, canoeing, climbing the rock wall, flying down the zip-line, arts & crafts, guided hikes, campfires, sports, camp-outs, and so much more! Campers will usually become more responsible, confident and capable in the outdoors, all while making memories to last a lifetime! Our residential summer camp is open to kids and teens going into Grades 2-12.

Incoming 11th & 12th graders who want to learn all the counseling basics while still getting to experience all the fun of camp can apply for our Counselor in Traing (CIT) program. CITs will be placed in a cabin with experienced Camp Counselors and will have the support of their Camp Coordinators for the duration of their session.
