• I am lucky enough to have experienced YPI for the past 15 years. First as a camper, then as a counselor, and now as a teacher. Throughout each of these roles, YPI has served as a creative outlet, a place for me to grow, and more importantly, a second home. As someone who now works in a creative field, I can attest that I would not have the perspective and ability to do what I do without the experience I have had at YPI. It is a place that makes you feel safe enough to push yourself out of your comfort zone, in all senses. • YPI has always called to Sarah even when her nights were hard as a child. And now, nothing can keep her from being there. She treasures you and Sal and all the others who have been by her side as she grew up. What better testament to YPI could there be than the fact she will always, always be there for you, for her, for Ciana, and for the program. She will always return to her place of love and comfort. I cannot ever repay you and YPI for the strength Sarah has. Thank you.
