    Overview

Summer Retail Greeter volunteers assist staff in the Museum Store and at the Retail carts on the Memorial during this busy time. As a volunteer, you will greet visitors, provide helpful information about products, and share the stories behind them as they connect to Museum themes like recovery efforts and remembrance. We recommend summer volunteers work two four-hour shifts per week for 2-3 months. We request that our volunteers do not to miss more than two shifts in the summer.
This summer, help visitors find a keepsake to remember their visit to the 9/11 Memorial & Museum. Honor, remember, and volunteer.
The National September 11 Memorial and Museum honors and remembers the nearly 3,000 people killed in the attacks of September 11, 2001 and February 26, 1993. Through their purchase of meaningful keepsakes at the Museum Store, visitors help preserve history and support the Memorial & Museum’s mission. Summer Retail Greeter Volunteers are an essential part of our team as we welcome millions of visitors.
