    Overview

Our network of generous donors, volunteers and employees share a mission of preventing and relieving suffering, here at home and around the world, through five key service areas: disaster relief, supporting America's military families, lifesaving blood, health and safety services, and international services.

The American Red Cross National Youth Council (NYC) is a group of thirteen youth members and two adult advisors who nationally represent and serve the youth volunteers of the American Red Cross. Drawing upon the creativity, dedication, and energy of youth, the National Youth Council seeks to promote young volunteers as an organizational resource.
