    Overview

Our mission at Atlanta Community Food Bank is to fight hunger by engaging, educating and empowering our community.

We partner with food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters, and senior centers that receive food and goods from us.

Thank you for your desire to join us in our efforts to fight hunger. The Atlanta Community Food Bank relies on more than 15,000 volunteers every year in various capacities. Individual volunteers and volunteer groups lend support to our day-to-day operations as well as helping to staff special events and other opportunities.

Volunteers must be 12 years or older to volunteer. All volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Lend a hand. Help a neighbor. We rely on volunteers every day to help with important tasks such as sorting and packing food donations, administrative work, and more.

Visit our website for more information about volunteer opportunities.
