Join Pa'Ti Mar as a Coral Restoration Volunteer and make a tangible impact on marine conservation in Puerto Rico! Volunteers will assist with coral care, reef surveys, and hands-on restoration activities at San Juan’s first land-based coral nursery. Gain experience in marine science while contributing to the preservation of critical reef ecosystems. This opportunity is perfect for ocean lovers passionate about protecting our planet’s underwater treasures.

Pa'Ti Mar’s Coral Restoration Volunteer program offers an exciting opportunity to engage in meaningful conservation work while gaining hands-on experience in marine science. Based in the vibrant city of San Juan, Puerto Rico, volunteers will contribute directly to the restoration of coral reefs through activities such as caring for corals in our land-based nursery, assisting with reef surveys, and participating in outplanting efforts to restore damaged ecosystems. Volunteers will learn about coral biology, the threats facing reef ecosystems, and innovative restoration techniques from our team of passionate conservationists. Each activity is designed to provide practical experience in marine science and restoration while contributing to the preservation of critical reef habitats. Training and guidance are provided to ensure all participants feel confident and equipped to make a meaningful impact. Activities are designed to be both educational and impactful, ensuring participants leave with a deeper understanding of marine ecosystems and the skills to make a difference. Located at Escambrón, the nursery serves as a hub for community involvement and education, offering a unique opportunity to work alongside other volunteers in a collaborative and inspiring environment. Volunteers will also have time to enjoy the natural beauty of San Juan, including its beaches, snorkeling spots, and vibrant local culture. This program is ideal for ocean enthusiasts, students, and anyone looking to contribute to environmental conservation efforts in a hands-on way. Whether you’re a seasoned diver or new to marine science, your work will play a vital role in rebuilding coral reefs and protecting the biodiversity of Puerto Rico’s coastal waters.
