    Overview

EEqual is a for-youth by-youth nonprofit working to overcome student homelessness by raising awareness and increasing access to higher education.

If you're passionate about our mission, here are ways you can help:

Start a chapter: Our Chapters program is a network of young people across the nation all with the common goal of educational equality. A student interested in starting a Chapter becomes the Chapter President. If the Chapter President is under 18 years old, they will need an Adult Sponsor. The Chapter President then can recruit other students to become Chapter Members, and once all Chapter Members have officially registered, EEqual will being sending them Action Items. Action Items vary, but the goal of everyone is to start a discussion among Chapter Members and their communities about student homelessness. Along the way, Chapters can host fundraisers and contribute to larger projects with the main organization.

Become a youth leader: We are looking for high school or college students who are looking for leadership positions and want to get real experience in the nonprofit sector. We have positions for running social media accounts like Instagram and TikTok, while also positions in chapter recruitment for engaging youth. All team members will be given a stipend to help cover their personal expenses.
