    Overview

F.R.I.E.N.D.S. mission and vision are to provide a permanent safe haven for all horses that are carriers of EIA within the state of Florida as well as for any horse in immediate need of assistance in Broward County preventing their needless destruction. F.R.I.E.N.D.S. provides sanctuary to all horses we accept. F.R.I.E.N.D.S. does not buy, sell, trade or give away horses. Instead, we offer them a lifetime of sanctuary so these animals will never need help again.

Our participants come from surrounding communities, high schools, and just folks who want to help. We can help you fulfill your community service hours as well. Our volunteers are very much appreciated, come from all walks of life and are all ages. You do not need to have any experience with horses, just a willingness to learn how help the horses and the ranch.

Before you can begin volunteering you will need to attend our Orientation & Safety Class. If you are under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must attend the orientation with you.

Orientations are held on the 1st Saturday and the 3rd Sunday of every month at 1:00 PM.
