    Overview

Friends of Birch State Park's mission is to help preserve, conserve, enhance, and promote Hugh Taylor Birch State Park through community support.

Hugh Taylor Birch State Park seeks enthusiastic, hard-working volunteers who love the outdoors and giving back to the community. Volunteers help lead tram tours, welcome visitors, assist in habitat restoration, maintain park grounds, and more. Teens gain new skills, enjoy nature, and meet people from around the world—all while helping preserve the park for future generations. Training is provided on-site, so volunteers feel ready to make a difference!

All volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Visit the website to get started.
