    Overview

High school students aged 15–18 seeking volunteer experience and an introduction to healthcare careers are encouraged to apply for the Junior Volunteer Program (JVP). This 8-week, structured summer service initiative offers diverse volunteer roles and interactive educational sessions, allowing participants to explore various healthcare fields.

Interested individuals must apply online, provide references, complete the essay and interview process, and commit to serving at least 4 to 5 hours each week during the 8-week session. They must also fulfill a total of 40 service hours, 16 educational hours, and actively participate during at least 7 of the 8 weeks to meet the minimum requirements for acceptance into the program.

Check the JVP webpage for information on deadlines, program dates, locations, and more.
