    Overview

Habitat AmeriCorps is part of the growing national service movement. In partnership with Habitat organizations throughout the U.S., our program places AmeriCorps members to serve in the field and in the office to build and repair homes, expand housing services and engage the community. A service term with Habitat provides hands-on nonprofit experience that allows members to learn and develop lifelong skills and confidence.

On any given day, you can find our AmeriCorps members, in sync with mentors, literally putting up walls to build homes, or rallying communities to #GetThingsDone. If you share our values and our enthusiasm to extend shiny sets of keys into the palms of families who need a hand up, you’ll have a fulfilling year with #HabitatAmeriCorps.

To join Habitat AmeriCorps, an applicant must be a U.S. citizen, national or lawful permanent resident at least 18 or older and have a high school diploma or GED. There may be additional requirements that will be noted on each individual posting.

Opportunities to serve are available year-round in most states throughout the U.S.

Apply on our website to connect with a recruiter who will work with you to determine a service site that meets your career goals and interests.
