The mission of the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center is to provide education about the natural environment to people of all ages and to protect and enhance the Arboretum as a haven and as a sanctuary for native plants and animals.
Our volunteers are students: highschool, college, and life-long learners. Our volunteers benefit from the training that’s provided – whether it’s learning new skills for your volunteer job or expanding your knowledge of the natural history of our area.
If you enjoy being outdoors or sharing your love of nature with others, visit our website to join the volunteers at the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center.
