    Overview

The Houston Zoo connects communities with animals to inspire wildlife conservation, leading global efforts to protect various species. Home to over 6,000 animals, it is dedicated to providing top-quality care while encouraging action to save wildlife.

The Houston Zoo Teen Programs encourage teens to find solutions for wildlife conservation and inspire others to take action. Through hands-on experiences, participants develop a strong connection to the environment and become lifelong advocates for animals both locally and globally.

Join the Houston Zoo Teen Program and develop the teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills needed to work towards saving wildlife! Visit the Houston Zoo website to submit an application.

Teens must be no older than 17 during the time they are participating in Zoo Crew.
