    Overview

MagLiteracy's mission to deliver the joy of reading magazines and comics to at-risk children and families, while strengthening their literacy skills and self-esteem.

Help sort boxes of reading materials needed for delivery to 3,500+ children and families via food pantries, homeless and domestic abuse shelters, youth mentoring, and job training programs. Our program is like a food bank for reading materials. Magazines are special for literacy. With titles for every reading age, interest, professional aspiration, and language, magazines are the most powerful literacy engines on earth. We receive good condition magazines recycled from consumers, publishers, and retail stores, and sort and package them for delivery to new readers via literacy programs.
