    Overview

MagLiteracy's mission to deliver the joy of reading magazines and comics to at-risk children and families, while strengthening their literacy skills and self-esteem. Like a food bank for reading, MagLiteracy collects gently used magazines from consumers, publishers, and retailers, then sorts and packages them for distribution. With titles for all ages, interests, and languages, magazines serve as powerful tools to support literacy and inspire learning.

Join our global literacy project and help spread the joy of reading! Volunteers can assist with outreach, deliveries, volunteer coordination, publisher relations, and communications like blogging, design, and social media. There are also roles in fundraising and tech support using tools like WordPress, Mailchimp, Salesforce, and more. Whatever your skill set, there’s a fun and meaningful way to get involved!
