Manna Project International Manna Project International (MPI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering community-driven development through service and education. MPI offers impactful gap year and internship programs, allowing participants to live and work in the Amazon Rainforest in Ecuador, where they engage directly with local communities. Outside Work Experiences Outside of the internship, interns have the opportunity to go hiking in the Amazon, go to local natural pools like La Laguna Azul, visit Kichwa festivals and be immersed in Kichwa music, dance, and culture, join their neighbors in nighttime soccer, volleyball, and basketball games, white water raft down the Napo River, and visit natural thermal pools.
