    Overview

The mission of the MDSC is to ensure individuals with Down syndrome in Massachusetts are valued, included, and given the opportunities to pursue fulfilling lives by providing information, networking opportunities, and advocacy for people with Down syndrome and their families, educators, health care professionals, and the community-at-large.

We have a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the year including assisting in our Advocates in Motion program for teens and young adults with Down syndrome and helping at our Buddy Walks which celebrate Down syndrome and promote acceptance and inclusion.

Throughout the year, the MDSC needs volunteers for a variety of projects and events. Without volunteers generously donating their time, energy, and passion, we would not be able to make the difference we do in the lives of thousands of people with Down syndrome statewide. Please consider volunteering your own talents and enthusiasm for a worthy cause.
