    Overview

The mission of the 9/11 Memorial & Museum is to remember and honor the thousands of innocent men, women, and children murdered by terrorists in the horrific attacks of February 26, 1993 and September 11, 2001.

Volunteers play a vital role in supporting the museum, bringing diverse skills to both public-facing and office-based positions. Visitor Services volunteers enhance the visitor experience by greeting guests, answering questions, providing directions, and sharing information about exhibits. Training is provided to ensure excellent service. Volunteers commit to a four-hour shift per week for at least six months or every other weekend. Visit the website to learn more and apply!
