    Overview

    The Owensboro Museum of Science & History, founded in 1966, is located in downtown Owensboro, Kentucky. Housed within an historic 19th and early 20th century building, the museum is a gathering spot, a learning center and a family-friendly entertainment experience. Junior Volunteer program (ages 12-17) are a select group of 10-15 students chosen based on maturity, ability, and willingness to help.

    The program runs from June to April, with applications accepted in April and early May. Volunteers assist with summer programs and special events during the school year. Orientation and training are provided for those selected. Visit the Owensboro Museum website to find out more!
