    Overview

The Walk for Hunger® is the oldest and largest community fundraiser to alleviate hunger in Massachusetts and solve its root causes! Founded in 1969 by Massachusetts non-profit Project Bread, the event is a celebration of the strength of community, and what we can accomplish when we act together.

Every year, The Walk for Hunger generates awareness and funds for support programs across Massachusetts. During the Walk, you can participate in a 3 mile walk, 20 mile walk, 5k run, or volunteer.

In 2019, 8,500 people participated in The Walk for Hunger, the more people, the bigger a difference we can have to support anti-hunger solutions in the coming year. Register as an individual, form a team, or if you can't make it, just create a fundraising page to support the cause!
