    Overview

Rescuing Leftover Cuisine is a national nonprofit food rescue organization, operating across the United States and headquartered in New York City, that redistributes excess food to feed people experiencing food insecurity. Volunteer in the fight against wasted food and hunger by making food deliveries!

Volunteers help reduce food waste and fight hunger by delivering excess food from donors to local nonprofits.  Food rescues take less than an hour and can be done by car, bike, foot, or public transit, depending on the location. Volunteers under 18 must submit a signed parental consent form, and those under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at each event. With just an hour of time, volunteers can make a real difference in their community!
