    Overview

The Richmond Neighborhood Center’s mission is to nurture a diverse urban community by developing and providing high quality youth, adult, and family programs that address critical community needs and foster respect for all people and our environment. We have been serving the Richmond District of San Francisco for over 35 years, working with more than 5,000 participants each year.

In a high-cost neighborhood like the Richmond District, it can be a challenge to make ends meet. People from all over our neighborhood, including hard-working people with low-wage jobs, can find themselves unable to afford all the food they need. Make a difference in your community by joining the Richmond District Neighborhood Center as a volunteer. Volunteer opportunities include the food pantry, delivering groceries to homebound seniors, neighborhood cleanups, supporting local businesses, and more!
