    Turnout Nation's mission is to raise voter turnout in every U.S. election through friend-to-friend mobilization. Voting Captains are volunteers who encourage 10 of their friends to vote and help them create a voting plan, which research shows is the most effective method of encouraging voter turnout.

    Virtual volunteer opportunities:

    • Become a Voting Captain to encourage your community to vote.

    Turnout Nation is a partnering project of Our Democracy, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, nonpartisan organization. It equips those who care about voting—called Voting Captains—with tools and information to help more Americans get to the polls.
