    Since 1972, Visiting Neighbors has been a trusted life-line, helping seniors in lower Manhattan as they face the challenges of aging, most often alone, to remain independent and safe in their own homes while also staying connected, informed and a vital part of the New York Community.

    There are a number of ways to help out Visiting Neighbors: visiting with seniors a few hours a week, escorting them to their errand destinations, shopping for them, taking walks, and more!

    Visiting Neighbors welcomes volunteers with special skills to share! Whether it's art, design, computer skills, fundraising, marketing, music, office help, photography, crafts, writing, or support at events and special projects, you can get involved.
