    Overview

Columbia's College Edge Summer Session provides high school students with the opportunity to jumpstart their education. Students can take courses that will prepare them for college, and enhance their college application.

College Edge students typically enroll in lower-level (1000–2999) courses and must obtain special permission from the College Edge Advisor to register for upper-level courses (3000 and above). The summer program is open to domestic or international students entering grades 11 or 12, or freshman year of college in the fall, as well as those that graduated within the past two academic years.
