    Overview

Chapman has two colleges solely dedicated to the arts. Dodge College offers a complete array of undergraduate and graduate degrees for students interested in all facets of film and media arts, while the College of Performing Arts focuses on a music conservatory, and dance and theatre programs.

With a strong focus on the arts, Chapman University recognizes the value of endeavors in the graphic, visual, and performance arts, as well as many other artistic endeavors. Students are encouraged to express their creativity in their studies, regardless of their chosen field. Nowhere is this more evident than through programs such as the new screen acting degree in partnership with Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, the first of its kind in the country; and a new exciting partnership with Cirque du Soleil for technical theatre.
